Royal Flush Bracelet

Shell

Shell buttons have been used for hundreds of years, and are very common amongst old buttons. The problem is that most of them are misshapen, stained, chipped, or have a dull, hazy finish. I am very selective with the shell buttons I use, many of which have hand- etched designs or unusual shapes. Mostly, they date to the late 1800's and early 1900's. The Mother of Pearl bracelets are sewn using pure, white shell buttons sewn onto white elastic with white thread. These are perfect for brides and for First Communion gifts. The Abalone Shell & Mother of Pearl bracelets are particularly striking due to the contrast of the various shimmering grey shades of Abalone shell against top quality white Mother of Pearl. These are sewn with black thread onto black elastic, and are quite elegant, suitable for even the most formal occasion.
